Please join The Cherry Fund at our Annual Giveback Reception where we will award $53,500 in grant fund to local area non-profits. Our Annual Giveback Reception is a great opportunity to not only support and acknowledge the great work of our grantees, but also a time to thank our sponsors, partners, and volunteers who help make this year a great success. Funding from CHERRY, our Annual Benefit Weekend would never be possible without the commitment of these kind and generous individuals. From Our Direct Grant Program

Inova Juniper Program ($10,000)
---Supporting HIV/AIDS Related Services

Inova Juniper Program is Northern Virginia's largest provider of HIV/AIDS care. We are proud to offer all aspects of primary medical care and mental health, substance abuse and case management services to HIV positive individuals along with a history of delivering compassionate HIV/AIDS clinical and education services.

Wanda Alston Foundation ($5,000)
---Supporting Our Community's Youth

The Wanda Alston Foundation is dedicated to ensuring that LGBTQ youth have access to services that improve their overall quality of life.

CASA Ruby ($3,000)
---Supporting the most vulnerable members of our community

Casa Ruby is the only Bilingual Multicultural LGBT Organization providing life saving services and programs to the most vulnerable in the LGBT community. A large number of our clients have incomes of less than $15,000.00 per year. Our Mission is to create success life stories among Transgender, Gender Queer  and Gender Non-conforming Gay, Lesbian and Bisexual people.

Metro DC PFLAG ($1,000)
---Supporting Our Community's Youth Including Their Safe Schools Initiatives 

Since 2002, Metro DC PFLAG has been at the forefront of local advocacy for LGBTQ students in our public schools and in the struggles for civil marriage equality and anti-discrimination laws.

La Clinica del Pueblo is a non-profit, federally qualified health center that serves the Latino and immigrant populations of the Washington, DC metro area. Our goal is to provide culturally appropriate health services, focusing on those most in need.

Latin American Youth Center ($1,500)

The Latin American Youth Center’s (LAYC) mission is to empower a diverse population of youth to achieve a successful transition to adulthood, through multi-cultural, comprehensive, and innovative programs that address youths’ social, academic, and career needs.

Capital Pride ($10,000)
The Capital Pride Alliance, through its multi-faceted programming and stewardship of LGBTA organizations and events, specifically year-round Pride festivities centered in Washington, DC and the National Capital Region, serves to celebrate, educate, support, and inspire our diverse communities in order to grow and protect our legacy, history, and rights for future generations.

DC Sisters ($2,000)
The Sisters of Perpetual indulgence is a leading-edge Order of queer nuns. Since their first appearance in San Francisco on Easter Sunday, 1979, the Sisters have devoted themselves to community service, ministry and outreach to those on the edges, and to promoting human rights, respect for diversity and spiritual enlightenment.

NOVA Pride ($1,000)
NOVA Pride’s vision is to foster a proud, safe, healthy and thriving LGBTQ+ community within Northern Virginia, working together with straight allies and ongoing  pursuit of an increasingly inclusive  community.
